We are a group of Carers who care for relatives and loved ones living with dementia (incl. alzheimer’s disease). We share experiences, exchange information and ideas, and provide support in an informal and friendly environment.

Working for Carers Brent – CV Writing, Online Applications & Interview Techniques workshop

“Working for Carers” is a new programme being delivered in Brent by Harrow Carers, which is designed to help unpaid carers to retain jobs whilst caring for a family member or friend. The programme is available to all unpaid carers over the age of 25 in London who have the right to work in England.
If you are in employment or wish to get back into employment work now or in the future then this workshop is for you. The workshop will include the following areas:

CAD Brent review of dementia services in Brent

Community Action on Dementia Brent has arranged a meeting for people living with dementia and carers to discuss their views on the state of dementia services in Brent, and to recommend approaches for future support systems that would enable them continue living as well as possible.
A report arising from the event will be presented to both Brent Council and NHS Brent’s clinical commissioning group by CAD Brent representatives.
You can drop-in to see one of our members of staff at our offices every Thursday. No appointment needed.
