Former Carers - Move On Project |

This project is for former carers either because the person cared for has died or moved into alternative care.
The project is funded by the City Bridge Trust. It offers advice, information and practical and emotional support to former carers aged 50 and over. These former carers will have stopped caring within the last 2 years, either through bereavement or because the person they cared for has moved into alternative care. The project aims to help former carers through what is often a difficult transitional stage. To aid this we have set up a support group that meets monthly. This project also offers regular social activities and training sessions to aid and equip them to move on in their lives. |
