Vacancies at Brent Carers Centre.
Experienced Trustees Sought - Finance, HR, Law or Secretarial skills
“Making unpaid carers’ lives better” is at the heart of what we do. Brent Carers Centre is the only local charity in London Borough of Brent that provides family carers living in Brent, or caring for a person living in Brent, with an extensive range of information and advice services on all aspects of their caring responsibilities. Our vision is “To ensure that unpaid carers are recognised, valued and supported to live rather than just exist.”
We are seeking to appoint new Trustees to fill current and forthcoming vacancies on the Board, who will add value and make a contribution to the overall direction of the organisation. Trustees are responsible for the governance of the Centre, setting its strategic direction, monitoring its performance and prioritising its role and activities. As volunteers, Trustees receive no payment for their contribution to the Centre.
We welcome people from the widest possible diversity of background, culture and experience to help ensure that the Board is representative of the communities we serve.
We are looking for people with Business Management, Finance, HR (Personnel), Fundraising and Marketing skills.
If you would like more information about becoming a Trustee please contact Irene Lewis (telephone 020 8450 2977 or email email@example.com).
